How to set start time premium settings

 

  1. Go to Company Settings & choose Pre-Payroll
  2. Scroll down to Start Time Premium Settings which allows you to set different rates to be applied to staff depending on their start time.
  3. Click Add and then you will have an option to label (title) your start time premiums.
  4. You can assign employees to the setting by clicking on Attach Users. Then drag & drop employee names to the left hand side of the screen on the pop-up window. 
  5. Select Add Timeframe - Staff who start at or after this start time will receive the associated premium.
  6. Type in the premium rate, Submit and your rule is set up.

Note: in the example below; if this particular employee starts work between 6am & 7am, they will receive a premium of 113% for any hours worked on that day.
