How to set start time premium settings
- Go to Company Settings & choose Pre-Payroll
- Scroll down to Start Time Premium Settings which allows you to set different rates to be applied to staff depending on their start time.
- Click Add and then you will have an option to label (title) your start time premiums.
- You can assign employees to the setting by clicking on Attach Users. Then drag & drop employee names to the left hand side of the screen on the pop-up window.
- Select Add Timeframe - Staff who start at or after this start time will receive the associated premium.
- Type in the premium rate, Submit and your rule is set up.
Note: in the example below; if this particular employee starts work between 6am & 7am, they will receive a premium of 113% for any hours worked on that day.
