How to set Premium Rate Setting

 

 

  1. Go to Company Settings & choose Pre-Payroll
  2. Scroll down to the Premium rates setting.
  3. Update the ‘Saturday Rate’, ‘Sunday Rate’ & ‘Public Holiday Rate’ accordingly. 
  4. Apply these uplift rates in the instance that it applies to all staff.
  5. Example - If everyone in the organisation is paid 150% on a Sunday, apply this rate in the Sunday premium box. 

Note: Uplift Rates Stacking: Please be aware that uplift rates for hourly rates are cumulative. In scenarios where multiple uplift cases apply simultaneously, such as working on a Saturday that coincides with a public holiday, along with unsociable hours and overtime, the rates will stack up. This means the final hourly rate will reflect the combined impact of all applicable uplifts.
