How to adjust Export Settings

Adjusting export settings allows you to download your payroll report in a format of your choice suitable for your payroll provider.



  1. Go to Manager > Reports > Employee > Pre-payroll Report
  2. Click on the settings icon
  3. On the pop-up window, select Export Settings
  4. Toggle Send the export by email on if you want the file to be sent to you via an email when it is ready
  5. Toggle Headed Row on if you want columns in the download to have a title heading
  6. Toggle Show Only Filled Rows on if you want rows to only appear if an employee has hours allocated to that particular row type for the period observed.
  7. Choose a View Setting
    1. Staff View - For every staff member there is a corresponding row.
    2. Day View - For every day worked by an individual staff member, there is a corresponding row.
    3. Type View - For every type of time/rate/leave (e.g. basic hours, overtime, Paid Leave, Paid Sick Leave etc.) accrued by an individual staff member during the period, there is a corresponding row.
    4. Roster View - For every roster of an individual staff member, there is a corresponding row.
  8. In the Available Rows/Columns heading, click on the + icon beside the row names you want to display on the report. The selected row/column names will be displayed in the Currently Displayed 
  9. Click Save and the selected columns will be visible when the report is downloaded

To remove a selected column/row name, click on the cross icon to the right of the column/row name in the Currently displayed box
