Roster Pre-payroll Report: Approved Hours for Payroll (Weekly Roster)

Summary: A very useful output from Roster which exports details as outlined below for the selected week. This report is accessed via the orange Drop Down Arrow on the Confirm Staff Payroll page and is only for a weekly roster period.

Total Hours for Payroll (frequently used to inform payroll)

Whether or not the hours worked have been approved on the system

Hours broken down 

  • by day of week 

  • Hours worked overall Monday to Sunday (total hours for payroll)

  • Weekday hours worked Monday to Friday

  • Hours worked Monday to Saturday inclusive

  • Hours worked on Saturday separated

  • Hours worked on Sunday separated

Leave

Annual Leave days/hours that were taken during the period

Sick Leave days/hours that were taken during the period 

Paid Sick Leave Hours

Public Holidays

Flag if employee worked on a public holiday

Indicator as to whether the employee is entitled to the public holiday

References 40 hours worked in 5 weeks immediately preceding the public holiday (5 week rule)

Calculates average hours worked over 13 weeks immediately preceding the public holiday

Calculates average hours worked over 52 weeks immediately preceding the public holiday
