Permissions Checklist

This is a summary of basic permissions required by Line Managers. Please raise a ticket if you have any further queries.

Note: If you want to know what each permission does, you can go to an employee profile > Permissions & check the tooltip available.

Standard Permissions

  • System permissions - this must be enabled for a manager prior to activating any other permissions

Employee View Option

  • View self - this must be enabled for a manager to be able to view their own leave and time on reports

Leave Approval

If the manager should approve their team’s leave requests

  • View by team or department/location (note: viewable departments/locations selected) 
  • View leave types
  • Manage user leave
  • View leave reports

Time Approval (not in the roster)

If the manager should approve their team’s time

  • View by team or department/location (note: viewable departments/locations selected) 
  • Manage timecards
  • Manage No Timecard Dashboard (note: this is if the manager would like to amend/approve timecards from action request)

If the manager should approve all staff’s time

Time

If the manager should view the Who’s At Work report
