How to set policies to active for acknowledgment (for all staff or for a country/set group of staff)

  1. If you want to send a policy out to employees to sign, you will need to make the policy active in ConnectDuo > Policies.

  2. Add your policy information accordingly. 

  3. Choose *Policy Type if you want the policy to also flow to Information & Guidance 

  4. If you assign the policy to a particular country, only those in that country will receive notification of the policy.

  5. If all staff should receive the policy, select All Employees. Please note, the documentation group and country noted above will be considered in this instance. 

  6. If new employees that join the company should receive this policy, toggle Show to New Employees

  7. Save the policy.

  8. In ConnectDuo Policies, there are 3 statuses; Active, Publish and Issue

  9. Active indicates that the policy is complete and ready for use.

  10. When Publish is enabled for an Active policy, this publishes it to the Information & Guidance section, making it accessible to staff.

  11. When Issue is enabled for an Active policy, this triggers the system to send it out to the relevant staff members for acknowledgement.
