How to make an employee active and send a welcome email

Summary: When you set up an employee on the system, managers can decide to set users as active or inactive. If employees are made inactive (maybe if they are starting at a later date), follow the steps below to make the user active.

 

  1. Click on Manager, Select Staff.

  2. Untick Show active employees and choose relevant employee, that you want to activate.

  3. Check you have the correct email address. If you want the employee to use a work email address, amend in Personal Details. Click Update Personal Details to save.

  4. Go to System Details and toggle on the Employee Active Status button [from Employee is Not Active to Employee is Active.]

  5. You can then send a welcome email to the employee from the active staff list [by clicking on the Send Welcome button].
