How to apply for leave on behalf of a staff member

Managers can add leave on behalf of their employees in cases where the employee is unable to do it. Managers will need relevant permissions to complete this.

 

  1. Go to Leave in the top menu.

  2. Select the relevant staff member from the Choose Staff drop down menu.

  3. Click Apply for Leave.

  4. Select the correct Leave Type.

  5. Add in the Start Date and End Date.

  6. There is an option to add in a Comment or any Files, if required.

  7. Press Submit to save the leave against the employee. This will automatically move to the approved tab.

Use this screen to check leave balances used and available as well as viewing any other colleagues who are on leave at the same time.
